It’s June and guess what? Wee Blue Dream self catering log cabin Pitlochry is one year old!
We (Two Islands Meet) can’t believe it, time has flown past. But what a fantastic year. As we slowly emerge from the horrible pandemic, staycations have been a vital part of the recovery, and we are so proud that we have played a small part.
Over 70 people have booked stays with us from all over the country, including many of our unsung heroes in the NHS. And they have loved visiting us. We have been so pleased to get so many positive reviews and to achieve Airbnb Superhost so quickly.
Planting tree for our guests with Tayside Woodland Partnerships
As a big thankyou to all our guests, and to try to help make sure that the recovery is a green one, we have now planted a tree for every booking we have received (70 in total). These trees (mainly oak but with rowan, alder and birch as well) have been planted in a new woodland created by Tayside Woodland Partnerships, a new charity dedicated to the care and expansion of our native woodland. The woodland is at Blackhaugh Community Farm near Spittalfield, about 18 miles down the river from Pitlochry.
So once again, thanks to all our guests. You have made the past year very special for us and we hope you all have happy memories of your stay at the Wee Blue Dream self catering log cabin Pitlochry.
